Almonds

Almonds:
Almonds come from the almond fruits which are a native of Mediterranean climate region. The almond crop will begin from the third year of planting. In autumn the almond fruit is matured.

Nutritional values with Almonds:
  • Almonds are rich in vitamin E and B, magnesium, fiber, protein, magnesium, copper, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and iron.
  •  Almonds have flavonoids, magnesium and vitamin-E which protect the heart and reduces heart problems. 
  •  Almonds contain good levels of Folic acid which are useful in producing blood cells and prevent birth defects in newborn children. 
  •  Almonds are rich in phosphorus which helps in building strong bones and teeth.
    Almonds are rich in potassium and low in sodium, which helps in maintaining blood pressure levels. 
  •  Almonds have good fiber and healthy fats to decrease bad cholesterol in the body and prevent constipation. 
  •  Almonds have riboflavin and L-carnitine which boosts brain activity and prevent Alzheimer’s disease. 
  • Almonds significantly raise intellectual level and longevity - Ayurveda. 
  •  Almonds are used in cosmetics in the form of oil and milk. 
  •  Almonds boost energy as it has copper, manganese and Riboflavin.
    Almonds increases immunity power. Due to the flavonoids in them it protects the body against diseases.

  • Almonds are allergic for 2% of people in the world. 
  • Don’t feed to children less than 1 year.
  • Almonds are difficult to digest. Soak before you eat. 
  • Don't remove the skin of almonds it contains 20 antioxidants.  
  • Wild almonds which are bitter in taste need to be roasted because it contains glycoside which transform in to cyanide by intake.
