Mint Leaves


Mint Leaves:
Mint is one of the most popular ancient herbs grown throughout the world. Mint will give good taste and smell when it is added to food items. Due to its aroma and medicinal properties it was used in ancient times. It is available throughout the year in the local markets at very low price. Due to its rich aroma, soothing flavor and curative properties it is widely used in different treatments. Mint gives strength, freshness and coolness to the body. Mint is used in different mouth fresheners. Mint Oil (Menthol) is used in different cosmetics and perfumes. Mint Leaves Contains vitamin- A, C, B12, riboflavin, folic acid and thiamin. It contains essential minerals like calcium, copper, potassium, iron, manganese, zinc, selenium, fluoride and phosphorus.

Nutritional benefits of Mint:
  • Mint leaves will make blood flow in a uniform way. It will reduce the thickness of the blood and cleanse blood.
  • Mint Tea is a good remedy for severe cold, asthma, allergies and throat pains.

  • 1 teaspoon of fresh mint juice + 2 teaspoons of vinegar and equal proportions of honey stirred in 75 ml of carrot juice acts as a tonic and has good effects in the treatment of tuberculosis, asthma and bronchitis like respiratory disorders.
  • To cure anemia,low blood pressure and to produce fresh blood, take 3-5 spoons of fresh mint juice twice in a day before breakfast and dinner.
  • People who are weak, suffering from headache and migraines make a paste of mint leaves and wrap them in a cotton cloth and inhale the smell.
  • Fresh mint leaves + 3 black peppers + half teaspoon black salt + 2gms of tamarind paste + ¼ fried cardamom powder mixed with water will clear the stomach and intestines related problems. The juice can be consumed thrice a day.
  • 5gms of white layer substance on mint leaves + 25ml of mint leaves juice and mix well. These drops can be used as ear drops and will give relief from ear ache.
  • Some women suffer from weakness during pregnancy leads to abortion to avoid and protect the embryo take mint leaves, dry them and make powder. Daily take this powder twice a day through nostrils.
  • Women suffering from low menstrual bleeding can drink mint juice twice a day which can regulate the menstrual bleeding.
  • 100ml mint juice + sugar cane juice for twice in a day will reduce the excess heat in the body. It is more beneficial for the people who bleed through the nose.
